How to Overcome Stage Fear & Speak with Confidence

Public speaking is the fastest way to build trust at scale. But most people fear it more than failure. Here’s how to master the mic, even if you’re shy:

1. Start Small
Record 1-minute videos for yourself every day. Talk to the camera about your day, ideas, or thoughts. This builds comfort.

2. Body Language Training
Use power poses before speaking. Smile often. Keep hands visible. People trust what they see more than what they hear.

3. Script the First 30 Seconds
Memorize your hook. Once you get through the start confidently, nerves ease down.

4. Use The Rule of Three
Speak in sets of three—“Here’s what I learned, here’s how I applied it, here’s the result.”

5. End Strong
Always close with a call to action or a quote. You want people to remember the ending.

Confidence isn’t natural—it’s practiced. Every great speaker once froze on stage. The only difference is—they didn’t quit.
